I went to the SF Specialty Food Show yesterday at Moscone Center. Four of us had a chance to check out all the new items coming to market and some of the old favorites. Very excited to bring in some new grab and go items for snacking or having with friends.
There were some fun new cheeses and of course every sauce in the world. If you have never been to this event, it is worth checking it out if you are a foodie. Other than individually wrapped cheese slices, I think it was all there. Confections gallore, as well as cheeses, snacks, sauces, crackers, jams, teas, coffees, you name it.
In the end, walked away with some great new items.
Coming soon the Ranch Markets in Napa and Yountville are...
Cabernetzyns. Raisins made from some of Napa Valley's highest quality vineyards. Chardonnayzyns and Merlotzyns to follow.
Sabines Collections Baguette Crisps, multiple flavors. Great for the snack or quick grab to have an app for when the friends show up unexpectedly.
Gotta say, Rustichella d'abruzzo pasta and sauces are not cheap, but they are awesome. The are coming out with a new 90 second pasta. It's dried, but they amazingly split the noodle so the boiling water cooks it faster and as it expands you don't notice the split. Tossed in some of their sauces. I lived in Florence Italy and have traveled their multiple times, this was great for a good pasta without a lot of time, love it. Didn't get a picture of the new package but it has a big 90 on it, can't miss it.
Daniele has some great salumi and antipasti packs coming out that we will be all over as well.
